Question:

what year is the chassis? type of rear end, spool or locker? phone # for engine builder and what series did the car run in. thanks kevin

Answer:

Hello Kevin, The car is earlier than Port City's most recent front clip design (2007?) The original Team Owner passed away last summer and all I can say for sure is that the chassis had current updates for the 2006 race season. This was the primary car and newest in a 3 car stable with the least number of races on it. The car has never been bent and is in excellent condition. It has a Winters QC w/Locker rear. The engine was built by B & B Performance Engines (a company owned by the late Team Owner). John LaFond(sp?) (formerly of Custom Race Engines)was the builder and is now the current owner of B & B Performance Engines. John moved the shop to Singleton Station Road, Alcoa, TN after the original owner passed away, but I don't have the new phone number. B & B Performance Engines is now located next to Competition Race Parts (865-982-2659). I'm sure Roger Kerr at Competition can help with the number. I believe the car ran in the GAS Series (Georgia Asphalt Series). I know the car qualified 5th (out of 35-40 entries)in the GAS year end championship race at Peach State Speedway in 2006. If you have any other question, don't hesitate to ask. Question:

I spoke with you on the phone today. Would you consider 10,000 for the Late Model? Sorry for the low offer, we just had a new born and cash is tight. Thanks, Brandon 336-953-7685

Answer:

Srry ... I've talked to a lot of ppl about both cars recently...... but, cash is tight all over so 10K won't buy either one .... however, if you have something interesting to trade for the difference, let me know.
