Big Block chevy 582 Bow Tie, Dart 1000 + HP

The Block part # is 24502502-Gen V Pro Stock Bow tie. 16 degree splayed cap bolts. Intended usage by GM is Professional competition. There has never been a repair to the block or any part of this engine. No grout in the block. uses Two piece rear seal cranks 2.75" journal diameter.

The time slips shown in the photo were produced in 2256' alt and 1.059 C.F. 69 deg temp humidity 69.7% absolute baro of 28.98 and 69.1 grains of water. In the 2450# Beretta with a 400 trans and 3.90 gear.

*Bow tie gen V 10.20 deck Splayed main steel cap with tall lifter bores. Long dowel pins for aluminum mid plate, recomended max bore is 4.60", Priority main oiling.
* Cola steel internal balanced, standard journal dimensions.
* ATI aluminum hub sfi harmonic balancer.
*Clevite coated main bearings, & coated cam bgs. Clevite rod bgs.
*Crower 6.80 steel rods #M93017B with crower H11 220,000 rod bolts new
*Ross reher morrison 4.60 bore gas ported pistons with .043/.043/3\16" ring package. with diamond wrist pins.
*All ARP studs on heads and mains.
*Dart Pro 1 CNC ported and hand finished, blown nitrous heads. used for there thicker deck surface.
*Manley titanium valves 2.30" and 1.88" with titanium retainers and crower lash caps.
*Jesel competition series shaft rockers 1.8 ratio both
*Manley Nextex springs installed ht 2.10"
* Soft prostock cam with 4-7 swap gives .855 lift with the 1.8 rockers. Cam card included with purchase.
*Crower severe duty cutaway lifters New in 08.
*Moroso single stage wet sump pan with #16 pickup. Power kick out and internally baffled.
*Peterson single stage oil pump with bear claw mount and drive mandral complete.

This engine is professionally assembled and ready for the 08 season. The combination is a copy of reher morrisons 565HR with more stroke. Using older Dart blown nitrous 360 heads, Manley titanium valves both intake and exhaust, 1.8 shaft Jesel rockers & Jesel belt drive, external single stage peterson oil system complete with mandrel drive, filters and hoses. Moroso base for HP6 filter included for pressure side oil pump. MSD crank trigger, MSD dist, new coated main bgs. and cam bgs. New crower severe duty cut away lifters and new valve springs. Crower con rods with new bolts, Cola crank, Ross reher morrison gas port 15 to 1 slugs with 46.7 cc dome. Missing head bolts installed in valley. This engine is very economical to maintain, no maintenance accept periodic valve lash and spring seat pressure testing. Very good bracket engine. I am selling this engine freshly rebuilt, No Dyno time, minus carb and vacuum pump. over $5200 invested in 08 to upgrade to current description, $24,000+ total investment to build in 06. I have replaced this engine with a 12 deg job and can't afford to keep as a spare.

Fed ex freight has a dock locally, for asking price, will deliver to fed ex in my pick up, you set up arrangements and pay freight.
